Mr. Caplan, Managing Partner, has over 15 years of commercial real estate investment banking, mortgage brokerage and financial services experience. Mr. Caplan has been responsible for mortgage brokerage, loan originations, note sales and loan evaluation. In 2003, Jay formed L.J. Capital Partners, LLC. In his role as Managing Partner, Mr. Caplan provides real estate investment banking and consulting services to lenders and borrowers. Previously, as a Senior Vice President at Balance Sheet Manager, he developed relationships with over 300 financial institutions throughout the United States. His work history also includes managing key client areas for Mellon Bank and Prudential Securities.

Mr. Caplan graduated from the California Polytechnic State University at San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics with a concentration in Finance.
